The Judith Miller Band is a jazz group that features the amazing vocal talents of Judith Miller with a huge range and the ability to evoke Ella Fitzgerald to Diana Krall, JMB has been #1 in local jazz on this site for 15 consecutive months and Judith was most recently nominated as “Best Female Jazz Artist” by IMC-Hollywood. Also a writer, Judith’s originals are featured here from the band’s four releases,”I Am What I Am”, “Christmas Time” , “Lets Have Fun” and “On the Road to Temple”.
Judith Miller does all her own vocals with Joe Gee on keys, Randy Larkin on guitar, Russ Harrison on bass and Chris Bennett on drums. JMB has performed concerts,clubs,festivals in Central Texas for 20 years and SXSW for the past 4 years. JMB has an original repertoire, but plays standards that include selections from Antonio Carlos Jobim, Rodgers & Hart, Franks, Frishberg, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington,Count Basie, the Beatles and countless other composers. They are available to perform at any occasion big or small. With their own self-contained PA system they can fit in any size room and entertain any size crowd.
