2010 Vintage, Sangiovese Reserve – Silver Medal
It has been announced today that Solaro Estate winery of Austin, Texas, has taken silver in the 2011 International Woman’s Wine Competition held in California with Solaro Estate’s 2010 Vintage, Sangiovese Reserve. The International Wine Competition sponsored by Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine is one of the most prestigious wine competitions in the world. Solaro’s win for its 2010 Sangiovese Reserve in the International Wine Competition, held in California, comes after Solaro Estate winery was awarded four medals for its 2009 wines in the International 19 Country Wine Competition held in New York earlier this year. Winning the most prestigious International Wine Competitions from California to New York makes Solaro Estate winery a full member of that exclusive club of wineries producing the best wines in the world. “The greatest wines have no borders”, says Solaro’s Barbara Haderlein. “Solaro Estate winery is producing limited production exclusive wines that are among the best wines in the world and we are proud to bring Solaro’s Texas wines to the world stage of wines”. Due to the importance of Solaro’s win, a press release is being forwarded by the competition officials, in California, to the Austin American Statesman newspaper.
