Austin, Texas, Aug. 30 (WNI) – Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine California has announced that Solaro Estate Winery of Dripping Springs and Houston, Texas has been awarded top Honors by an incredible win of Double Gold, Best of Class, Gold and Silver in its 2013 International Wine Competition held in Sonoma, California.  The Solaro wines awarded are Solaro Estate 2011 Estate Grown Barbera-Double Gold and Best of Class, Solaro Estate 2010 Estate Grown Barbera – Gold and Solaro Estate 2012 Miscela Bianco (Viognier) – Silver.  This extremely prestigious win against stiff International Competition in the Wine World is followed by Solaro Estate’s win in the New York International Wine Competition for Solaro’s 2011 Estate Barbera and its 2012 Reserve Tempranillo which also won Gold in the 2013 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo International  Wine Competition, catapulting Solaro Estate to title of NYIWC Texas Winery of the Year.  www.solaroestate.com
